HSC was founded at the beginning of 1989 by Hervé Schauer, offering training, studies and audits about Unix and TCP/IP security. The agency hire employees in 1991 and launch Internet security services then Windows security in 1996.

HSC provide expertise and run high-level quality services always ended with a complete report, in a competence transfert mind spirit. The consultants works by couple for a better performance and customer relationships managment. They allow at least 25% of their time for their own training and research.

Computer security consulting require a commercial, financial and technical independence. HSC do not resell products or software, stay independant from providers and only offer consulting services.

HSC is a privately held company, after being unincorporated from 1989 to 2002, independant from investors and self-financing its grow.
